These student leaders have been researching the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education and developing strategies to support both teachers and peers in using AI tools responsibly, creatively, and effectively. Faculty will hear student perspectives on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How they\u2019re using AI in authentic, discipline-specific ways to augment rather than offload cognitive effort, helping students extend their thinking, explore new perspectives, and deepen understanding through guided reflection and analysis.<\/li>\n<li>What students wish teachers understood about their learning experienceI: what helps, what hinders, and what inspires them.<\/li>\n<li>Research findings from the SCAI\u2019s subcommittees on responsible use, ethics, and effective classroom integration that uses AI to augment rather than offload cognitive effort, helping students extend their thinking, explore new perspectives, and deepen understanding through guided reflection and analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Through dialogue and breakout discussions, teachers and students will co-design next steps for AI integration that honor both student voice and academic integrity.
